Clinical Programme Manager

This is an exciting post for an experienced clinician who seeks to move into programme management and implementation of new services. Family Psychology Mutual is seeking a Programme Manager to lead and manage Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare in Norfolk and Functional Family Therapy in Suffolk. Both of these new services are ‘edge of care’ social impact bond funded projects with long term funding. You will have senior experience in the delivery of services through programme or line management as a psychologist, therapist, nursing or CAMHS manager and will be able to provide strategic oversight of these two key contracts to ensure high performance and the effective integration of the services with our partners, Norfolk and Suffolk County Council social care teams. Working in collaboration with the Performance Director appointed by Bridges Fund Management you will report to the consortia boards. You will supervise the two FFT supervisors and will work with FFT Inc as the intellectual property holders to ensure that the services achieve high fidelity to the model and that the referrals received from the social care teams are appropriate with a good pipeline across the two systems. You will be an excellent communicator, an independent problem solver and an advocate of evidence based interventions. You will be supported by the Joint CEOs of the company and senior clinical staff. You will receive training in both models but will not hold a caseload.

This is a three day a week post. However further hours may be available depending upon your skills and experience so please talk to us at the application stage if you wish. The post will require travel across Norfolk and Suffolk with occasional travel elsewhere including Huntingdon and London

Salary:  £63,966 - £73,132

Location: Based either Norfolk CC or Suffolk CC but the post covers both counties.

FFT CW Norfolk

We are seeking experienced and suitably qualified staff to join a new Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare Service in Norfolk as FFT CW Workers. This will be the second FFT CW team established in the UK so this is an exciting development. This is an outcomes based contract for children 11-17 at risk of care entry (using a social impact bond structure) therefore the service is expected to deliver outcomes for young people and their families where care placement or custody are likely. You will join a new team of up to 6 FFT CW workers covering Norfolk and embedded into Norfolk CC in one of the area offices.

FFT Suffolk

We are seeking experienced and suitably qualified staff to join a new Functional Family Therapy Service in Suffolk as FFT Workers. Family Psychology Mutual, established in 2017, is a Community Interest Company also known as a Public Service Mutual, which is wholly owned by its employees. Its’ mission is to work together with young people and families in their homes and communities to create and sustain positive changes, using high quality outcome-based psychological therapeutic interventions. With a growing portfolio of interventions in Cambridgeshire, East Anglia and London we are seeking two board members who can support and guide the company as we develop our governance. We are seeking Non-Executive Directors with commercial, financial, academic or legal skills to join our board of employee Directors as we endeavour to build a long term and sustainable business, often backed by social investment. Salary: To a maximum of £7000 per annum plus travel expenses as necessary

Expectation :2 days per month including attendance at board meetings, advice calls, reading of papers and financial approvals.

Contract:  Fixed term for 3 years with possibility to extend.

MST Cambridgeshire

The MST Team in Cambridgeshire has been operational since 2001 and is the longest running in England. Working collaboratively with our colleagues in Cambridgeshire County Council and with other partners too you will be joining a well-established service which is now being delivered by Family Psychology Mutual. Our new office base is in Huntingdon with the team working across the beautiful and diverse County of Cambridgeshire in both rural and urban settings.  The team has four MST workers and a full time Supervisor and has always been a strong service with good support. The service has a good track record of successful outcomes. Quarterly booster training takes place with our neighbouring MST Teams in Northamptonshire and we are well connected to other teams and services too.

MST-PSB Cambridgeshire

MST PSB is a well-researched community based family intervention directed at young people whose sexually harmful behaviour may be putting them at risk at the edge of care or custody. MST PSB is a clinical adaptation of MST for anti-social behaviour and is an intensive home based service. The MST PSB team in Cambridgeshire is developed and well-established service, having been operational since 2012. The service operates in Cambridgeshire and with neighbouring authorities who also commission places. The service will also offer a limited amount of standard MST. MST is a widely recognised and NICE recommended evidence-based programme, delivering significantly enhanced outcomes for children and families.

Positive Families Partnership

Positive Families Partnership is a ground breaking new 3 year programme providing Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) and Functional Family Therapy (FFT) to families in 5 London boroughs.  Family Psychology Mutual provides the FFT team in Newham, Tower Hamlets, Bexley, Merton and Sutton. The team consists of one supervisor, 4 FFT workers and a part-time Business Support Officer to provide administrative support.
