Diversity

Family Psychology Mutual seeks to provide services which are inclusive and recognise diversity, structural inequality and difference.

“At FPM, diversity is a core element of our service offer and reflected within our staff teams and core values. We recognise the families we work with can face disadvantages and discrimination and we strive to ensure that our services are accessible and tailored to our families’ individual needs.

Our Diversity Group was established to ensure that diversity and equality is embedded throughout our company culture, including the development of policies and recruitment.”

This is supported by our Diversity Group which has a membership drawn from across the company and which develops policy and practice for the company. Diversity is reflected in our staff teams and is a core element of our service offer. We know that disadvantage and discrimination can be a regular experience of the families and young people whom we work with and that we have to adjust our services to ensure that we can meet diverse needs and make service access equitable.
