Our Programme Managers

Dr Vicky McCaig, Suffolk

Vicky is an experienced clinical psychologist and supervisor. She worked in Child and Adolescent mental health services in the NHS for 6 years and then in Multi Systemic Therapy for 10 years as a Supervisor and consultant. She has been a programme manager in FPM for almost 5 years. Vicky also works in private practice and is a qualified Meditation Teacher and KonMari Consultant.

Kim Mabbutt, Norfolk

Kim is an experienced operational manager, leader, systemic practitioner, and registered Mental Health Nurse, with 20+ years’ experience working in the public, private and third sectors. Her areas of interest include; innovative and creative solutions to resolve complex organisational dilemmas, design and implementation of strategic vision into operational actuality and organisational communication and culture. She has programme management experience of delivering clinical services within Local Authority Children’s Services contexts, having undertaken extensive training, including Leadership & management in the public & voluntary sectors: a systemic perspective, Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management and a Diploma in Systemic Leadership & Consulting Practice.

Raphael Cadenhead, London

Raphael is an experienced Programme Manager, social worker, systemic psychotherapist and former FPM Employee Director. During his 6 years with FPM, he has progressed from Functional Family Therapist to Supervisor and now Programme Manager for three new London based teams. Over the past 10 months Raphael has been seconded part-time to the Maya Angelou Family Centre in Haringey, providing case consultation and advice to social workers and family practitioners in the parenting assessment, family outreach and FGC teams. In addition to this Raphael is an External Facilitator and Assessor for Frontline. In his capacity as Employee Director, Raphael provides independent judgement and advice on issues of strategy, vision, performance, resources, and standards, helping to hold the board accountable for decisions and actions. Raphael is also an active member of the FPM Diversity Committee.

Our Employee Directors

Charlie, Norfolk

Charlie qualified as a social worker in 2016 and worked in frontline child protection for several years in Norfolk. She subsequently spent 3 years living in Sydney, Australia and practiced as a therapeutic caseworker using the Neuro-sequential Model of Therapeutics. Charlie also supervised a team of caseworkers in Australia for a year and returned to the UK in December 2021 to start working for FPM as an FFT worker.

Charlie is passionate about working for an EO company and feel privileged to contribute to the company’s success. She believes that her personal values align closely with those of FPM, and hopes to bring creativity, positivity and determination to the role whilst also seeing things through the lens of diversity and ownership.

Our Non Executive Directors

Carl Bridge, Co-Chair

Carl has been a supporter of health and social care professionals, and SMEs for over 25 years’. He has experience working as a successful entrepreneur himself, and has developed numerous innovative products, services and facilities for sectors including, medical legal pioneers and healthcare. Carl brings a wealth of experience and expertise in governance, business and partnership development. Although semi-retired, Carl is committed to ensuring integrated and transformational building blocks from family values to create possible future successes.

George, London

Helen Poole, Co-Chair

Helen has over seventeen years’ commissioning and contracts experience in the NHS and is currently Managing Director of a Primary Care Network.  Helen started her management career as a graduate trainee within the rail industry, fulfilling various operational and business management roles. She joined FPM as is committed to their empowering ethos, aims and values. She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, holds lay roles with a number of regulatory organisations and is a charity trustee.

Neil Stanworth

Neil has more than 30 years’ experience in supporting change and improvement in the public sector. He is a founding Director of ATQ, which has been supporting the delivery and measurement of social impact since 2012, and previously held roles in the civil service, in consultancy and in organisations delivering public services.  He is strongly committed to FPM’s staff-led ethos and values and brings wide experience and knowledge of business and service development, and the innovative delivery of social interventions.

Our Senior Leadership Team

Brigitte Squire, Joint CEO & Clinical Director

After 30 years of working within the NHS and seconded to Cambridgeshire County Council to lead on MST, Tom and Brigitte together with  MST colleagues, formed the non-profit Family Psychology Mutual. As a research practitioner and clinical psychologist Brigitte’s practice has always been inspired and informed by empirical research findings. Her clinical experience and ongoing training in evidence based approaches stretched from working with adults and moved to work with children and adolescents. Her values and ambition have grown to be more outreach, homebased and family oriented working with the most deprived children. Family Psychology Mutual has grown to a very professional network of clinicians inspired by similar values to bring services to people in most need.

Tom Jefford, Joint CEO & Business Director

A registered social worker with a doctorate in health and social care Tom established Family Psychology Mutual with Brigitte after a career working for Cambridgeshire County Council as a Head of Service for youth justice, drug and alcohol, alternative education and other services. Tom has a long interest in systemic evidence based interventions and their implementation. With a focus delivering sustainable behavioural change, Tom seeks to bridge between practice, innovation and research with partners who share a passion for achieving outcomes for children and families at risk. This is where Family Psychology Mutual is positioned to be.

Judith Hill, Operations Director

With a background and experience in technology, Judith moved to Cambridgeshire County Council’s MST Services and in 2015 established Family Psychology Mutual with Tom, Brigitte and fellow MST colleagues as an employee-owned, not for profit, social enterprise.  Judith is passionate about employee ownership and ensuring that everyone in our company has a voice, is heard, and can contribute and influence about how we manage and govern our company.   Judith brings a wealth of skills and experience of providing support services to colleagues delivering evidenced based therapeutic interventions to children and families who use our services, to empower them become happier and healthier.
